CALL FOR ENTRIES
- Send us an email announcing your participation in BEST IN SHOW PRESENTED BY ZIOBAFFA ORGANIC WINES .
- Build your board
- On Friday OCTOBER 6, @11AM bring three items a) your Best In Show board entry b) a vertical surfboard stand c) an 8.5″ x 11″ informational proof of concept write-up that explains to the judges everything about your board and the finer details of the build process (impress us!).
- The board will be on display at The Boardroom Surfboard Show October 7 & 8, 2022
JUDGING
Your board will be judged using these two criteria listed below in order of importance.
1) First and foremost the board must be a functional surfboard design
2) The quality of the craftsmanship from nose to tail including but not limited to shape, lamination, artwork, sand and finish. Every aspect of the craftsmanship must be top quality and will be scrutinized.
IN ADDITION: The judges will also take into account materials and fabrication. This is an opportunity to incorporate state-of-the-art and/or cutting edge materials and/or unique build processes. Impress us!!
PRIZES
The 1st place winning Best In Show presented by Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines will receive $1500 cash, a complimentary 10′ x 10′ booth at the 2023 Boardroom Surfboard Show presented by US Blanks, and an assortment of Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines = $3K value in cash and prizes.
The 2nd place Best In Show presented by Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines will receive $500 and a complimentary 10′ x 10′ booth at the 2023 Boardroom Surfboard Show presented by US Blanks and an assortment of Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines = $1500 value in cash and prizes
The 3rd place Best In Show presented by Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines surfboard will receive an assortment of Ziobaffa Organic Italian Wines = $100 value
